Job description
The candidate can be based in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North or South Carolina.
The Regional Sales Director (RSD) is the sales & strategy point person for his/her assigned territory. He/she is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals and achieving successful sales results, while also ensuring a best-in-class customer experience that drives customer loyalty throughout the territory. The RSD reports directly to the US VP of Sales and works in concert with the entire Umano Medical team, and with the complement of its collective tools and resources, to fulfill his/her responsibilities as follows.
Responsibilities include
Management of the sales team :
- Build and develop a best-in-class team of focused and committed sales professionals.
- Train, coach, and motivate both Territory Managers and sales groups to utilize the Umano Medical sales process for the entire portfolio of products and services.
- Ensure that both Territory Managers and sales groups possess a complete understanding of Umano Medical’s customer experience expectations, and continually take appropriate positive actions to ensure customer loyalty.
- Manage the sales process with both Territory Managers and sales groups to ensure sales opportunities are consistently opened, advanced, and closed successfully across Umano Medical’s entire portfolio of products and services.
- Utilize the company planning resources (CRM, PowerBI, etc.) to forecast, manage, and advance the teams’ sales funnel of opportunities.
- Drive a high-level performance of the sales team by providing leadership through an appropriate cadence of direct communication.
• Develop, implement, and actively manage a sales plan that ensures sales targets and revenues are met by both Territory Managers and sales groups. - Achieve time-based sales goals for the region and ensure the best possible return on time and financial investment for Umano Medical.
Sales strategy, market, and customer development :
- Grow the region by a) continuously pursuing new customers & new sales/business opportunities, and b) ensuring the highest level of satisfaction and loyalty from both new and existing customers.
- In collaboration with the US VP of Sales, develop and apply winning sales strategies/tactics for the entire Umano Medical product portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Strategic Accounts Team to successfully identify, advance, and close new contracts/customer partnership agreements.
- Successfully position Umano Medical’s products against competitors by emphasizing the value proposition and thereby maximizing adoption by new and existing customers.
- Continuously collect both constructive criticism and positive feedback directly from customers throughout the region and relay that information to both the Customer Relationship Team and the US VP of Sales.

Requirements
- BAC in marketing, health care administration or relevant training
- Minimum 5 years of experience as sales management in the medical field with independent and direct sales team
- Minimum of 5 Years Capital Healthcare Equipment Sales
- Knowledge of the Office suite – asset
- ISO and FDA standards – asset
- CRM knowledge – asset
