Join Umano Medical and become the go-to person for technical support, customer service, and local operations in Australia. You'll be the key contact for our customers in Australia, especially around Newcastle, and ensure smooth operations across technical support, logistics, and client relations.

 

More specifically, here’s what your day might look like

  • Provide technical support by phone and on-site (repairs, maintenance, installations).
  • Visit hospitals and client sites to perform repairs and offer training.
  • Handle service calls and follow up until resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Process orders for parts and services, and manage related documentation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other departments to report field issues and improve processes.
  • Support local operations: shipping, receiving, inventory, packaging.
  • Monitor and manage parts inventory (Kanban, JIT).
  • Participate in improving tools, procedures, and customer experience.

Profile

 

Essential qualifications 

  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent education/training
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints
  • Experience in product repair and technical support
  • Basic knowledge of inventory or logistics
  • Autonomous, organized, and customer-focused
  • Hands-on and comfortable with physical work
  • Willingness to travel as needed
