As a key member of our Service team at Umano Medical, you will play a central role in supporting our customers and ensuring the optimal performance of our products in the field. You’ll be the go‑to expert for service calls, technical interventions, and customer support, helping deliver an outstanding experience that reflects our commitment to quality, reliability, and care.
Specifically, this is what your day might look like
- Answer and manage service calls, ensuring customer problems are addressed and resolved
- Perform repairs or preventive maintenance on our products at various client locations
- Support product deliveries and commissioning
- Participate in training service subcontractors and, when required, technical staff in hospitals
- Handle customer service requests, including complaints (processes, tools, and documentation)
- Process orders for parts or service requests for Umano Medical products
- Ensure follow-up with the customer from the initial request to the completed repair, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain documentation for all service cases or service requests
- Complete analysis and follow-up reports after customer visits
- Provide technical support to service clerks and subcontractors
- Monitor and analyze parts inventory
- Perform all other related tasks
The profile we're looking for
- DEC or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or any combination of relevant experience and training
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience in after-sales service or customer support
- Hands-on experience in product repair and technical support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
